In September, the Évora International Short Film Festival (FIKE) will host a total of 43 films from 20 nations in competition, following the postponement of the 2020 event due to covid-19.

The Évora International Short Film Festival (FIKE) announced in a statement to Lusa News Agency on August 11 that the 17th edition of the festival would screen 43 films in fiction, documentary, and animation categories between September 20 and 25.

According to the announcement, “the short films that will compete in the worldwide competition were picked from 3,116 films from about 120 countries.”
