Italy: Green Pass mandatory for museums, restaurants, theaters and more

New restrictions take effect on Friday, making the Green Pass vaccination passport required to enter Italian cinemas, museums, theaters, and swimming pools, as well as to eat indoors in bars and restaurants.

In addition, Premier Mario Draghi's cabinet approved measures on Thursday that will broaden the scope of the Green Pass by making it mandatory for long-distance travel on trains, buses, ferries, and flights within Italy beginning in September, as well as for school and university staff and college students.
