New and more restrictive measures to suppress the coronavirus came into effect today in all regions of Portugal.
Among them, the sale of promotional items and beverages is prohibited, circulation between counties between 8 pm on Friday and 5 am on Monday is prohibited, and the mayors have been instructed to “close all public places where people freeze, that is, sidewalks, and the beach."
Generally, most shops (except for gas stations) must be closed at 8 pm on weekdays and 1 pm on weekends.
